We are delighted to announce the first title in the new series The Practice/Die Praxis: What Moves Artists/Was Künstler*innen bewegt published by Gropius Bau and edited by Jenny Schlenzka & Julia Grosse.
With each edition an artist can fill the 128 pages with a practice or passion which is different to their ‘main’ artistic one, yet an engagement which informs and deeply influences their work, but is often lesser known to the public. In the first title Rirkrit Tiravanija probes with ‘making less’ and developed an intriguing publication with writing, texts, recipes and a conversation. It was developed for the occasion of his exhibition DAS GLÜCK IST NICHT IMMER LUSTIG at Gropius Bau.
Forthcoming publications in the series will be Vaginal Davis and Kerstin Brätsch.
